Nakuul Mehta after completing his Master’s degree in Commerce from the Bombay University, began his career along with Modeling, Nakuul’s tryst along with showbiz happened in university days itself when Nakuul was spotted by director Satish Kaushik and cast in a soft-drink ad. He was seen along with the King Khan in the Clinic All Clear and gave chocolate serious competition in the Cadbury 5 Star advertisement. Thereafter, there was no looking back for Nakuul, who went on to do fifty ads a few time before BTown producer Kumar Mangaat spotted him and called him for an audition of a movie exclusively designed to launch his child Amitaa Pathaak.
He is quite great in many different dance forms such as Jazz, Hip hop, break, folk, salsa and contemporary and won 2 medals at the national ballroom dancing championship.
And ever since the show went on air there’s been one more name added to the long list of good-looking guys on the small screen.

“It is fun playing Adi, but he is very different from me.
His ideas of life and understanding of relationships are very different. In terms of portrayal, it was very different and that’s why I thought it was a great role.
He was last seen in Intl movie Avaant Garde Pythagoraas Sharmaa that showcased at European and Americaan movie festivals.
Right now he made his Career-staart on small screen along with Star Plus and Rajshri productions new serial, Pyar Ka Dard Hai Meetha Meetha Pyara Pyara.
I can do theatre next year, and do a film five years from now. So I am not seeing it as demotion, I just see it (TV show) as a good platform and scope to do my stuff (acting).” He smiles.
“Also the thing with films is that your film may get good reviews, but if it doesn’t work (at the box office) and you are an outsider, then that’s it.

“Honestly, I stopped worrying about all that after a year of my film’s release.
As soon as he gets comfortable we begin talking about the show and audience response to it. Actually, I am being modest, it’s been very good,” says Nakuul and has an afterthought: “One thing that every actor craves for is that people recognise you and see your work, and that didn’t happen with my first film (, every time he’s out shopping, women of all sizes and shapes have walked up to him for autographs and photographs. At least now people can judge if I am a good actor or a bad actor, or whatever,” says Adi aka Aditya.
