Wondering how many Indians can pay about 20-32 lacs to have a liver transplant in Apollo, or any other fancy private hospitals, most of them have to rely of poorly run government hospitals. This is an elitist, exclusive medical practice which is being run as a business. She lives just across the border, loves the food beyond the border and tweets @jyotsnamohan It is better to strengthen our bonds so that we can help each other very well, all my Pakistani friends, please take help of Indian Pharmaceutical Industry which is one of biggest in the world.
It is highly unlikely that 500 patients visits Apollo hospital, Delhi every month from Pakistan, might be true for year, or patients treated so far. There are bigger & better hospitals in Mumbai and South India.
Apollo, Mehdanta, Batra etc in Delhi do not have a good reputation and are best avoided unless you have lots of money to throw away.
There are scores of articles about how they fleece patients.
There was an article where they declined a patient who cannot arrange the total money they take as fee.
Whereas some corporate groups charge heavily patients can find that charges are very reasonable.
Hospitals have locations at Jaipur , Bangalore , Ahmedabad, Bengaluru..
Shetty and institute is considered as one of the best in Paediatric cardiac surgery in Asia.
Looking at this, I wonder whether this world should have any boundaries at all. India is a miracle nation for treatment of not only body but also for souls..is a land of wisdom, spirituality, karm yoga (work with high sense of consciousness) and sacrifice.
There are hardly any other patients for other diseases,. We welcome pakistani people because we were one once....... despite its shortcomings, we do value human relations kyunki phir bhi dil hai hindustani!
it is a subcontinent, subcontinent of India and its really sad to see its division by its own people based on some prehistoric man made beliefs.
When can we be in a position to hug our brothers and sisters across the borders with open arms? The whole world is welcomed here and resides with great harmony :-) Let us put all these wars and misunderstandings aside, we are Brothers!!
